Instant Melon Sorbet

The healthiest summer snack.

5 Min.

Preparation

1. Prepare the melon:

Cut the melon into tapered pieces or handy cubes. Remove seeds as needed.

2. Freeze:

Place the melon pieces in a freezer-safe container or bag and let them freeze completely for at least 6–8 hours (preferably overnight).

3. "Grate" the sorbet:

Take the frozen pieces directly out of the freezer. Use a standard kitchen grater to grate the melon into fine ice crystals. The result is an instantly light, sorbet-like ice.

4. Refine & Enjoy:

Serve the "grated" melon directly in a glass. Top with a splash of lemon juice or a small drizzle of agave syrup if desired. Enjoy ice-cold immediately!
