Homemade Tomato Ketchup

Preparation

1. Combine Ingredients:
Place the tomato paste, water, white wine vinegar, sugar, and all spices into a small, non-stick saucepan. Whisk until smooth.

2. Heat and Dissolve:
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Stir frequently to prevent sticking. Cook until the sugar has completely dissolved and the spices have fully infused the sauce.

3. Simmer and Bottle:
Allow the ketchup to simmer gently for another 2 minutes until it reaches your desired consistency. Carefully pour the hot liquid into sterilized bottles or jars and let cool completely.

  • 100 g Tomato paste
  • 225 ml Water
  • 3 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 65 g Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
