Oriental-Style Kohlrabi with Orange & Raisins

A touch of the Orient, straight from the pan.

15 Min.

Preparation

1. Prep the vegetables:
Peel and finely dice the onions. Peel the kohlrabi and cut into bite-sized cubes. Finely chop the garlic.

2. Sauté the onions:
Heat a little oil in a large non-stick pan. Gently sauté the onions over medium heat until translucent.

3. Add the garlic:
Stir in the garlic and cook briefly until fragrant, without browning.

4. Toast spices & kohlrabi:
Add kohlrabi, coriander, cinnamon and pepper. Stir well and lightly toast.

5. Deglaze & enrich:
Pour in vegetable broth and orange juice. Add the raisins and stir.

6. Simmer gently:
Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes until the kohlrabi is tender but still slightly firm.

7. Serve:
Serve hot with wholegrain rice and adjust seasoning if needed.
