Crispy Tofu Waffles from the Waffle Iron

High-Protein Breakfast: Golden-crispy, spicy, and creamy.

Preparation

1. Prepare Tofu:

Take a block of firm tofu and cut it into slices approximately 1 cm thick.

2. Coating:

Dredge the tofu slices in the starch mixture until evenly coated on all sides.

3. Waffle Iron Baking:

Preheat the waffle iron and grease lightly. Place the tofu inside, press firmly, and bake until golden brown and crispy.

4. Topping:

Spread a generous amount of Sriracha and vegan mayo directly onto the hot waffles after baking.

5. Serving:

Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and enjoy as a quick snack or a full brunch meal.
