Fiery BBQ Sweet Potatoes

Preparation
1. Prepare the sweet potatoes:
Clean the sweet potatoes thoroughly under running water. Peel or leave with skin as desired. Then cut into slices about 1 cm thick.
2. Prepare the marinade:
Mix all the spices with the olive oil in a large bowl. Add the sweet potato slices and mix thoroughly so that all the pieces are evenly coated. Leave to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
3. Preheat the grill or pan:
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or heat a grill pan on the stove. Grease lightly to prevent the sweet potatoes from sticking.
4. Grill the sweet potatoes:
Place the marinated slices on the grill and grill for about 4-5 minutes per side until they are golden brown and have light grill marks. Sear on both sides in the pan.
5. Serve:
Serve the grilled sweet potatoes warm. They go perfectly with dips such as guacamole, yogurt-garlic dip or hummus.
