Smoky BBQ Sauce

Preparation

1. Combine Ingredients:
Place the homemade tomato ketchup, maple syrup, soy sauce, and white wine vinegar into a saucepan. Add the spices (cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, mustard powder) and the liquid smoke.

2. Melt Flavors:
Stir all ingredients thoroughly over low heat. The goal is to harmoniously blend the flavors together. Heat the sauce for about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Bottle and Store:
Remove the pot from the heat and let the sauce cool for about one minute. Then, pour it into sterilized jars or containers. Store in the refrigerator once completely cooled.
