Caribbean Turmeric Colada

Preparation

1. Prepare ingredients:

Peel the half mango and cut the flesh into large chunks. Peel the fresh ginger and grate it finely to distribute the heat evenly throughout the drink.

2. Blending:

Add the frozen banana pieces, mango, water, turmeric, ginger, the three tablespoons of creamy canned coconut milk and the pinch of black pepper into the high-speed blender.

3. Blending:

Blend all ingredients on the highest setting until the consistency is perfectly smooth, creamy, and free of lumps.

4. Serving:

Pour the smoothie into a glass immediately and enjoy it while it is fresh and chilled.
