Vegan Grilled Steaks Made from Seitan

Ultimately delicious - a real meat substitute.

40 Min.

Preparation

1. Prepare the Dough

Mix the ingredients for the grill steaks well and knead to form a homogeneous mixture. For the finished consistency, it is important that the batter is not too moist but also not too dry. If necessary, add a little water or seitan fix.

2. Shape the Steaks

Then knead the mixture into a loaf and cut into slices approx. 1.5 cm thick, just as the steaks should look afterwards.

3. Cook the Broth

Prepare the vegetable stock and bring to the boil. Then add the steaks and cook for 15 minutes. Don't worry, the steaks will swell up. They will become beautiful again in the marinade.

4. Drain & Dry

Remove from the stock, drain and blot out the moisture.

5. Marinate

Mix all the marinade ingredients together and marinate the steaks; at least for 2 hours, but also overnight if you prefer.

6. Grill & Enjoy

Now you can start grilling.
